We are experts in residential, commercial cladding Fire Risk intrusive surveys and  assessments across the UK.

Our team have been involved in the property industry for over 35 years gaining a vast experience in all types of construction. After the Grenfell Tower disaster of June 14th 2017, we became heavily involved in building assessments all over the UK. Our work is in accordance with PAS9980, conducting intrusive surveys for EWS1 reports and fire risk assessments. Our approach is to gain as much information as possible for our clients with the minimum disruption to the residents.

Our work can involve through wall construction surveys, removal of cladding panels, borescope surveys, drone aerial pictography. All our operatives carry CSCS cards, PASMA trained, certified with the ladder association and IPAF qualified. This gives our clients the assurance we are qualified and site ready to carry out this type of work.

Intrusive surveys carry a specific set of skills. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of information to our clients. This makes the whole process cost effective and highly efficient to all parties involved.

The Building Safety Act 2022 and updated Fire Safety Order in the UK place a legal duty on building owners (Responsible Entities) to manage and reduce fire risks, including those related to cladding.

In England, the assessment is generally required for multi-occupied residential buildings over 11 meters in height with cladding. In Scotland, the Cladding Remediation Programme applies to flatted buildings 11 meters or taller, built or refurbished between 1992 and 2022.

A formal assessment, often resulting in an EWS1 form (External Wall System certificate), is frequently required by mortgage lenders and insurers to confirm the building’s safety status, which can impact a property’s marketability.
